• The COBOL analyst specialist is responsible for the analysis of project requirements and development of technical specifications for assigned work
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and installs code for new and/or existing business applications
• Work at this level is performed without appreciable direction, with individual determination of objectives and approaches to assignments

• MS degree
• 8+ years of programming using COBOL, CICS, and JCL technologies
• Must have hands-on experience with Java and J2EE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in Web to mainframe integration

The preferred candidate should possess expert knowledge in both IBM mainframe legacy systems and web technologies, with proficiency in a variety of skill sets including CICS, COBOL, JCL, Java and J2EE, relational databases, and XML.

We seek an application architect or solution architect knowledgeable in legacy IBM mainframe/COBOL production environment with the ability to reverse engineers the existing systems into UML based models. You should have a deep and solid knowledge with different kinds of reverse engineering techniques and you should also have experiences in model financial systems, originally written in COBOL, running in an IBM mainframe environment. By using reverse engineering techniques and tools we would like to model representative systems from their legacy portfolio as a step in determining the best way to transform and modernize these financial systems.

• MS degree
• Minimum 10+ years of experience of programming using COBOL
• Experience with RUP and UML development required
• Must have an in depth understanding of J2EE technologies, application server technologies, and web based standards
• The successful candidate will have a proactive, energetic, self-directed work style with exemplary communication skills
